The Percolator is a weekly-ish publication where you can read of-the-moment takes on tech, culture, and their intersection. It specifically aims to take an outsider perspective on what's happening in culture & technology and think about cultural & behavioral change with more of a long-focus lens.

The site was launched in early 2026 by Monica S. Park, a writer and strategic insights consultant with experience working at the cross-section of tech, consumer insights, user research, and cultural analysis. Fun fact: her original training was as a Greek & Roman historian and classicist. Meaning: she is equally happy talking about the uncanny valley in AI as she is about Plato's Ladder of Love.
